The environmental studies minor compliments any degree program concerned with the natural world and social world, and how one impacts the other. The focus is the impact of humans on the environment. An environmental studies minor augments degrees in geography, geology, biology, political science, philosophy, sociology, law, environmental education, education, and anthropology.

Courses already taken may or may not be accepted. Since the environmental studies minor is interdisciplinary only one proposed course can be applicable to another field of study.
